Hi,

I have an extension that i want to publish on a db located on a sql machine. on another machine I have application servers and instances. Launch powershell from this machine, but in the process of publishing I have a problem in terms of access permissions on the db. If open sql management I find several new db with the same name, followed by characters, and with a few tables inside. Why does this happen?

This is error at publish:

Via PowerShell only an admin can do that.

Regarding database: do you have a copy for every unsuccessful publish???

    Hi, thanks for reply.

the new databases is the  problem: i can not explain why he makes copies like that for every unsuccessful attempt.

Regarding the publish the extension: only the user that is admin in NAV can publish ?

normal user or employee of a single department can't?

    thanks

    p.s: i'm italian like you

The user must be an admin in NAV.

Regarding the databases, this is very strange... an extension created a new table called <YourTable>_ExtensionsID with only the new fields, but db remains the same.
