    Hi Fahes,

You should make sure the NAV Service is running.

    Hi,

    1. Try to enter the IP address instead of the server name : NAV-SVR.

    2. Check whether your machine is in the same domain of the server.

    3. Check whether your Service Name is correct ; DynamicsNAV2013.

    Best Regards,

    MMV

    Hi Fahes,

My first thought: Did you set up delegations right?

Did you search the internet in this message? If so you could have come across this post: msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh997105(v=nav.71).aspx (which also discusses delegations).

    Have a look and see.

    Luc

PS: best to always copy the error message as text into your post. This allows simple copying for others (and) to enable the to search on it.

i was running a test enviroment so in the NAV server had no instance or administration tools i was following the official courses labs so no need to the client to be connected (and it was not demanded)  because its just a testing lab installing each component without any specific config, so i guess there is no problem here ... In other labs the client could connect to server's instance easily using the right config.

ty Gentlemens for your time and  sorry for the inconvenience  :)
