Please clarify the Difference or importance about the Trade Agreement in Sales and Purchase

In the product Information Management , we have the Trade Agreement in both Purchase and Sales Tab. I need to know the Purpose of Trade agreement and when it is applied in sales or Purchase
Hi Sriram.
There is no real difference apart from the menu item which is used. This is done to ensure you can provide permissions separately. A sales person would not need to see the menu item in the purchase menu.
When opening the form from either the sales or purchase menu, an user can both setup purchase or sales agreements regardless the menu item permissions. If this needs to be restricted, you can consider creating an Extensible Data Security (XDS) policy.

Importance and where it is used
You are now changing the topic of your original question. With trade agreements you can define prices or discounts for multiple customer or vendors or individual parties.
With the sales and purchase agreements, you can define a certain commitment on quantity or value per customer or vendor and measure the progress.
