How I can delete the legal entity with all transactions from MSDyn365FO tenant ? in details process without any effect on the other legal entity in the same tenant such dimension, items et cetera , thanks.

I have a very similar error "Legal entities cannot be deleted while dependent Main account legal entity exist. Delete dependent Main account legal entity and try again." but we deleted all reference we know about and we also emptied the ledger. Any idea? If I can delete the chart of accounts I should have the ability to delete the company. No transactions have been performed and we don't have the company in hierarchies.
Any idea is very welcome
Hi Hisham,
You can find out the name of the table and then check if there are indeed records in this table which related to the legal entity you want to delete. You have to delete these records first. Test it in a test environment first.

Legal entities cannot be deleted while dependent General ledger entry provider configurations exist. Delete dependent General ledger entry provider configurations and try again.

There is no change in this area compared to AX2012. To be sure, it is recommended to rebuild the balances.

Thanks on your update ,it was helpful for me but do you know what is the steps to check the instance after delete the legal entity ? should i do rebuild for dimensions like we was doing with AX2012 ?, thanks.

And BTW i just checked that SysDatabaseTransDelete is available in d365 release 8.0.
