I have some reports build in the Report definition application but they are not visible on the Financial reports page (General ledger > Inquires and reports > Financial reports). Not even the standard reports are there. How do I move them back there? Any ideas why were they deleted or erased from the user interface? They used to be there a couple of months back.

You can import default reports.
Go to General Ledger > Inquiries and reports > Financial reports.
Then Click Edit or New in the action pane and open Report Designer.
Click Tools -> Import default reports.

The approach that Blue suggests does not trigger any visible action. The list of reports is still empty in D365. Any other suggestions?
This is happening for all users Ludwig.
Also, any ideas for a reason why may these have been deleted?

If so, can you try processing a couple of them to see whether they show up again in the D365FO client?

Yes, if I open the Report definition console the reports are there. I can generate and view them from there (they open as a separate tab on the internet navigator) but still the form financial reports on D365 is empty.

But if so, how are the reports added back to the user interface in D365FO? I´ve tried exporting and importing them again and the user interface is still empty.
In AX2012 we had a separate report viewer application that allowed you to view the reports in a special application.
To my knowledge that's no longer available for D365FO where all reports are displayed in a browser.
Coming back to your problem, if the reports are not coming back after resetting the data mart and reprocessing them then better contact the MS support to see what the underlying issue might be here.
