Importing quote with statecode

Hi erverbody

i am trying to import quotes with data management imports. But the Data Management will only import the quots with status "Active". Every Quote with status Closed or won will be rejected with the following error message:

The record was created but the state could not be changed to target value: This message can not be used to set state of incident to Close, use the CloseQuoteRequest message instead

All i was able to find about this is many years old. The solution seemed to use a custom field to import the state, and then run a Workflow to set the correct state. I would like to know if there is any other, easier and faster solution to import the state directly.

You will have to import as is an change via the sdk or a flow step. Some items don't accept the incoming status correctly. Closed does alot more than just switch that flag.
