How to set up targeted emails for multiple information sessions

Hi there

I'm looking to use one marketing form to collect registrations for our three information sessions coming up. Users will be able to select their preferred session from a dropdown list.

I have built the page and used a custom registration question to capture user selection for sessions.

Where I'm currently stuck is:

* How do i set up automated emails to notify attendees "Thank you for registering for session [X]" and how to set up event reminder emails when their session is coming up?

* Is real time marketing or outbound marketing more suitable in this instance?

For example, i want to send someone who has registered for 17 may information session, but don't want to email the whole list of people who submitted the marketing form.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi partner,

Real-time Marketing is more suitable in this instance.

We can create a journey to send automated emails to users. Here are the steps:

    1. Select Journeys under Engagement.

    2. Click "+ New journey" to create a trigger-based journey

    3. Select standard trigger or custom trigger that we created.

    4. Click "+ Add condition" to set trigger conditions.

    5. We can click "Send an email" from "+" under the journey.

    6. Select an email that you want to send.

    7. Save and publish.

We can also create another journey based on segment to send emails only to users who has registered for 17 may information session.
