PLEASE HELP.
I tried to install NAV 2016 with all the components including Server and Client on my system, but the only error " web server components fatal error during installation"

most likely you have forgot the port in the URL.
I'm guessing that this has been resolved now owing to the time that has passed, however I also had this but found that it was related to having the DNS Identity field filled out as well as windows auth. I found it on a different forum but as soon as I removed the DNS identity, it installed without issue. Hope this helps.

Have you installed everything using Admin Permission ? If not try uninstalling and install the setup using Admin Permission.

What is the message after installation fail (click View Report button)? What is the Windows Edition?
Check if you already have installed any of the other versions of NAV. if yes, remove earlier version of NAV completely, and install it again.
Check, if you already have proper permissions available and IIS is configured properly.
