which SQL Server Integration services version does DIXF Support AX 2012 R2 CU9 SQL 2014

I am following this blog and trying to install DIXF for AX 2012 r2 cu9. When i run the components installation and i selected DIXF service component and it's disabled and it shows, 

Microsoft SQL Server integration services are missing. 

Can you let me know which SQL Server Integration services version does DIXF Support? Right now we had SQL SERVER INTEGRATION SERVICES 12.0 which is running. We are using SQL 2014.

    It says

    A running instance of Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services. The version of SQL Server must be the same as the version that hosts the Microsoft Dynamics AX business and model store databases. The supported versions are SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2012, and SQL Server 2014. For more information about how to install SQL Server Integration Services, see Install Integration Services.

    Hi DynamicsAXExplorer,

    According to the system requirements, SQL Server 2014 is supported. www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    Can you check if the Integration Services are actually installed?

    Note that there are three client/server components related to DIXF. The DIXF component for SSIS, should be installed on the server where you have SQL/SSIS running.

    Hi Andre Arnaud de Calavon,

    Like i said in my post Integration services are running in the SQL server where i am trying to install dixf service component. Please check below snapshot.

    Above screenshot confirms that Integration services are actually installed right? 

    This is the server where i had sql, ssis are running - So i am trying to install the DIXF service component here. That's when i am seeing this issue that Service component is disabled even though ssis is running.

    Hi Sukrut,

    Like i said in my post. SSIS 12.0 service is running in that server. So i am not sure why it still says Microsoft Sql server integration services are missing.  Any idea what else i should try?  Any other thoughts?

    Also an update: We are using SQL SERVER 2014 SP2.

    Is this(SP2) supported with the Cu7 dixf installation that we are working on and ssis..?

    Hi,

    According to the documentation, you need CU9 for AX 2012 R2. I read in the first post that you are using this version. Do you have the setup media for CU7 or CU9?

    Yes i have setup media for both. 

    CU9 setup doesn't have DIXF components. 

    From that post, only CU7 update package had that. SO i tried to load DIXF service component from there and i am having this issue. 

    and the other Hotfix they mentioned in the blog- i can't get it as its not supported by Microsoft now. it's not there in LCS.  KB 3018235.

    Hi All,

    I am able to Install DIXF components for AX 2012 R2 cu9.

    We created a ticket with Microsoft and they provided a KB4465169. When i installed component from this KB, it allowed us to move forward with installation.

    We installed DIXF Components with this KB for SQL Server 2014 sp2 , SSIS integration services 12.0
