When looking for talent in NAV development, should we look at C/Side, C/AL programming skills or .Net plus ERP is fine.

What Experience band you are looking for?
Working in office or work from anywhere?
It depends. Do you want to develop customization or document in NAV ? Do you want to do reporting directly from the database ? Do you have developer license ? etc...
Having an ERP background is definitely a big plus.

In my opinion C/AL programming skills.
I expect that a talented NAV Developer should know how to use .NET components in NAV.
I interviewed lot of people that they wrote in their CVs to have experience in .NET and ERP and practically they worked for some integration with NAV but they had zero knowledge about C/AL.
