Hi Community,

May I find out how do you do Stock in and Stock out in Navision?

Until now, my company have been doing postive and negative adjustment to our stocks, but I think that is not correct in terms of how it reflect in our books.

The correct entry should be Stock in and Stock out, however, I need some guidance as to how should we do this.

Thank you!

    Hello Josh,

To get better idea about Navision inventory management read this article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav-app/inventory-manage-inventory .

Using "Inventory Valuation report" you can find the stock in and out details for the selected period, location, or other filter wise, it shows beginning inventory, inventory increases, inventory decreases, and ending inventory. Items are grouped by inventory posting groups.

Hi, for general, purchase in uses Purchase Order or and Warehouse Receipts.
Sales out uses Sales Order and Warehouse Shipments.
Movement between locations uses Transfer Order.
Inventory Counting uses Phys. Inventory Journals.

I don't know which step you want to ask, hope this can give you some hints.

    Thanks.

Do you mean doing purchases and sales or transfer between warehouses?
