Is there a way to create a purchase requisition through workflow without an accounting distribution?

do you mean at purchase requisition level you don't want to specify financial dimension?
yes exactly, according to the requirements I have, the financial dimension and cost are not set in the purchasing requisition , I want to be able to have the PR completed without having to put financial dimension values.

I had such a scenario where the user responsible for creating purchase requisitions has nothing to do with financial dimensions. I had to use a temporary account which is not following the account structure and rules to bypass the account structure validation. Then on the purchase order level when generating an invoice the accountant had to specify the Main Account and the dimensions for the lines.

Is there another way to bypass the account structure validation? as in the workaround I used I've lost the posting profiles feature?
