Scheduler & Sites Entity Deprecation

Hi,

We are in the process of preparing to go from On-Premise to the cloud and have been reading that there will be a deprecation of some Entities such as 'sites'.

Currently, as a business, we use this to split out a lot of our reporting data and there is a reliance on this key features. With moving onto the cloud we understand that something called 'Organisation Unit' will be used in a similar capacity.

Ideally we want to go with the option of 'Core Service Scheduling built on URS.

I had some questions around this and if anyone can share any information it will be really useful to understand if anyone else faced a similar scenario.

As we currently have views, charts etc that point towards site...what will happen to this data?

Do any views/ charts need to be rebuilt?

Will the migration automatically switch over any reference from 'Site' to 'Organisational Unit'?

I have the same question (0)

How are you migrating to the cloud?   Are you using the OP2OL factory to automatically upgrade or database or are you going to migrate the data and solutions over?     Are you using the service calendar now?   There are several articles about migration the service calendar to URS.

Sorry to ask so many questions but there are so many ways to do so many things so i want to ensure i give the right info.

    Thanks

    Hi Bethb26,

Firstly, I Really appreciate you reaching out.

Some background around the questions you have asked... We are using OP2OL factory for upgrading and the service calendar within our business at the moment.

It would be great if you have an insight to some of the questions I had on my original email.

    Again, any help is appreciated.
