Hello,

As I know Barcode EAN128 can contain i.e. itemId + Quantity in one code. I mean when barcode is entered the itemId and Quantity are retrieved.

i.e. 01M0001 retrieves the "M0001" itemId in Item number field

and 30100 gives "100.00" in quantity field.

But what I want to do is to retrieve both itemid and qty with one barcode, something like 01M000130100

How can I do that?

Hi JoniJiniani

EAN128 / GS is 14 characters (see en.wikipedia.org/.../GS1-128). Did you type something like "011234567890123430100", where 01 stands for item code, 12345678901234 is the barcode I created for an item code (in your case M0001) I already have in the system, 30 stands for quantity and 100 is the actual quantity?

I tried this in the item journal and it worked for me.
