How to block range of IP access and establish VPN connectvity for D365 finance and Ops

Hi,

I have a scenario where I need to block range of IP access to FnO and also apply security policies

I would like to understand how we can secure the connection to a Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environment deployed in Azure. We are interested also in encryption means by which our customer,, can increase security policies of the online D365 FO platform adding his own security policies set at group level. Again, not referring at the Azure platform as a whole, but specifically to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations delivered in Azure (looking for a solution Which is closer to a site to site VPN.

Any idea on this will be very helpful

    Can you give some more details on how you have deployed the environments? Did you deploy self-service environments in LCS, or did you deploy Virtual Machines in Azure using VHD from LCS?

    The environment is deployed in cloud through LCS. It is not VHD.

    Hi Sayanika,

    The connection is already using https with encryption. Potentially, you can manage some IP settings on Azure portal to restrict access, but note that users will be authenticated anyway when they login.

    What is the reason to block some IP ranges?

    You can use Azure Active Directory Conditional Access to control access from specific IP addresses.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../overview

    It's not possible to create a VPN based solution for MS hosted D365 environment.
