How to add Loss reason

Hi everyone,

I'd like to add another Loss reason for Opportunities. I know I can update this using the Status Reason field > select Lost > Add the option you need.

I have been able to add the first 5 some time ago. When I try to add a 6th one now, "Other", it just doesn't work.

Am I forgetting something?

Hi Anneke,

As you mentioned, “it just doesn't work.”. I don't quite understand this, which part shows that it doesn't work, because it has been shown in your screenshot.

For testing, i have added five new options without any other settings, it can be added successfully, then save and publish all customizations.

Now, when i click 'Close as Lost' button, i can view new options i added.

However, if you enable 'customize close opportunity form', and it shows opportunity close quick create form in the opportunity form.

You need add options you want to the 'Status Reason' field of the opportunity close entity.

Hi Leah Ju

That is exactly what I was doing, but it didn't show in the UI. I found the issue in the meantime: for some reason, CRM didn't give the added "Other" option the same reference code for Opportunity and Opportunity Close. Now that I changed this, it's showing. Thank you for your help.
