Hi everyone,

When our procurement team recalling the PO and updating it with the sales tax and submitting it for PO approval again, then system creating DB lock in the SQL database server and our workflow engine getting stucked. I have to kill the DB session from the DB server to run the workflow batch job but the PO workflow status showing following below error with status as "Stopped":

Cannot edit a record in Uncommitted sales tax (TaxUncommitted).

Stopped (error): X++ Exception: Cannot edit a record in Uncommitted sales tax (TaxUncommitted). Date: 3/7/2018.
The SQL database has issued an error.
at SysWorkflowWorkItem-create
SysWorkflowWorkItem-createWorkItems
SysWorkflow-save
SysWorkflowQueue-resume

To me this seems something weird behaviour of the system. Its happening only when we are doing request change to the PO and then submitting it again after adding sales tax percentage to the newly added item line.

Kindly help.

Hello Mirza,

Does this issue only occur in your live system or can you replicate it in a demo or test environment?

Are you aware of any customizations that have been done?

Hello Ludwig,

Its happening only in LIVE system whereas TEST environment is working fine and but it has different types of sales tax setup. We tried all the possibilities in the TEST environment to reproduce the issue but fails. Yes we've customization on the PO invoice but strange thing its working fine on the TEST environment.

Hello Mirza,

I would recommend that you try getting an exact copy of your LIVE system where your developers can debug this issue especially if things cannot be replicated in TEST. I suspect that a development is responsible for the system behavior that you see.

Yeah we did the same. We got the new replica of our LIVE environment and started debugging.

Have you fix your problem with TaxUncommitted in your resubmitted PO, because we currently encounter the same exact problem.
