Default Calendar View (User Personal Options) for Calendar Control v2 not working anymore?

We have a custom entity where we record equipment bookings by Date. The Entity Controls has two controls defined, i.e. Read-only Grid (default) and Calendar Control V2. The Calendar Control V2 shows the booking records (in the view) on a Calendar like display.

All users have the personal options set for Default Calendar as "Month"

As of two days ago the Calendar Control V2 View was working fine by automatically defaulting to the "Month" view for all users based on Personal Options for the User. Since last two days the Default view has started defaulting to "Day" instead and and seems to simply ignore the user Personal Options Setups. Has there been any change by Microsoft around this as we have not performed any changes around this areas in the last two days?

    Microsoft Support acknowledged this as a bug and deployed a minor patch today which resulted in this issue being fixed.

    Support ticket was raised, the engineer had the same problem two of their own environments. This is tentatively a bug to be confirmed by their "related department". Waiting for them to provide a workaround or fix.

    I have cleared cache, deleted all history and even tried a new browser but this hasn't helped.

    I tested it in two environments, the result is that Default Calendar View depends on personal settings, personal settings worked.

    Please clear your browser cache or try another browser.

    If it did not help, I would recommend you raise a support ticket.
