Main Account descriptions for 'Account Type' field

Hi,

Within the Main Account entity, we have the 'Account Type' field, but it only contains the key. Does anyone know which entity contains the description for 'Account Type'?

Looking at the form information, it suggests it comes from 'LedgerChartOfAccounts', but when exporting this entity, it does not contain 'Account Type'.

Any support is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I think this is enum value, you cant update anything by configuration.

Why you want to change this?

Hi S_Fryer ,

You are asking where to find the "Account type" field in the "MainAccountEntity".

If yes then there is a field name "MainAccountType" in "MainAccountEntity" which is referring to Account type field.

I guess "Account type" field in the MainAccountEntity is a enum field. Can you elaborate?

Thanks for sharing this, but I'm looking for the table which contains these values as well as the Id value.

Current exporting the Main Account Staging table through BYOD and the 'Account Type' field returns the following values:

I'm looking for the dimension table which I can join to the 'Main Account Staging' table to return the descriptions, which manually doing it.

As a workaround, I would suggest to change the first 10 Coa item in different accounttypes and check from Sql. If it was Ax2012 or before I would tell in a sec:)
