I would like to ask if there is a way to track changes in the Financial dimension of a Main Account in General ledgers? Because as per testing, changing financial dimensions in the Main account does not update the database log. Would like to ask if there is a way to check the last time the financial dimensions were last updated via logs.
Hi Sean,
Can you share what exact setup you did for the database logs? Did you also check if you can find logs if you switch to the 'DAT' company?
Hi Andre,
Unfortunately I could not share the exact setup for the database logs, I did not setup anything regarding the logging, I only need to check when the last change on the financial dimension of the main account occured, I tried chekcing the database log of the specific main account record, but it does not contain a trace of the change that occured in the financial dimension.
Also, I have tried to switch to DAT company, but I was unable to find any logs that is associated with the financial dimension change even in that company entity.
If you didn't setup the database logging, then there is no log available. The specific table does have a modified date/time enabled, but that will show whether there was any change on the record; not limited to dimensions only.
