Void PM Trx Not Updating in Cash Management Module

HI. I have voided a payables open transaction (Payment) from PM. It was successfully voided in PM but the status of the trx was not updated in CM (Bank Transaction Report). I have cleared following tables after logging out all the users

DYNAMICS..ACTIVITY
DYNAMICS..SY00800 
DYNAMICS..SY00801 
TEMPDB..DEX_LOCK 
TEMPDB..DEX_SESSION

but the status of the transaction was not updated. Do i have to update CM20200 for such particular transaction or is there any way this transaction's void status will update automatically as per process.


I have been on this community for some time and this community has been very helpful for me but this is my first query so i hope you guys would help me. cheers

Hello -

Just wanted to correct my statement earlier on Friday morning - my apologies. I was pertaining to Customer Payment Void (not VENDOR Payment). My answer SHOULD BE - voided Vendor Payments should go straight to Reconcile Bank Statement Window. It won't show in Bank Transaction entry window.

If you go to Inquiry->Financial->Checkbook Register and pull up this checkbook do you see this marked as void? In GP, voided checks do not show up as bank deposits. If you look at the Bank Transaction History Report you will also see it marked as voided. Please provide exact path so we can be sure we are all on the same page.

Hi Nauman,

Once you void your PM Payment, it should show first in Bank Deposit window as negative amount (if auto-deposit in unmarked in company settings). You'll need to post it in Bank Deposit window before it shows in Reconcile Bank Statement window.
