I am pretty sure this was a bug in GP2015 14.00.0983 But I am unable to find anything on the workaround or the fix
You are correct in that this was a documented issue with Dynamics GP 2015 R2 which was fixed in the July hotfix round 2, which is 14.00.0804, which is the MicrosoftDynamicsGP14-KB3080334-ENU.msp patch for Dynamics GP 2015 R2.
The document issue was pretty much in what you're seeing that, with the 'sa' user, a script was run that would get the attachment ID to use to insert into the CO00101 and other tables, but for non-sa users, the attachment ID wasn't retrieved, thus the error you're seeing due to the blank attachment IDs.
Thanks for the reply - this was very strange because the version they were on showed it was fixed -when she went back i to attach it then it worked so I am guessing some weird fluke - who knows - :-)
