Zetadocs _ "The sharepoint Site is invalid and unavailable."

 Hello Folks,

I am getting the following error message in the "Documents" Part.

I believe that I may have entered wrong login credentials, but I don't get to enter them again.

Is there a way to get back the login screen in this part?

I reinstalled Zetdaocs client, but to no avail.

Thanks for your attention.

    Hello,

If login credentials are entered incorrectly, the error message would usually highlight this.

I suspect there is another issue with the SharePoint configuration.

    • What URL have you specified on the 'Zetadocs General Settings' page (9041210)?
      • Ensure you have not included the document library name ('Zetadocs') in the URL.
      • Can you browse directly to the SharePoint site OK using this URL and ensure you can login OK.

    • Verify that all the steps in section 2.2 of the Zetadocs Express Install Guide have been followed. You must be using a document library called 'Zetadocs' that is created automatically for you when activating the Zetadocs Document Library Feature.

    Kind regards,

    Hello David,

    Thank you for your reply.

I am getting a better understanding of the situation now.

The login I used does actually exist but is not the login of the user, and was not given permission to the Zetadocs site. Once I gave this permission the error disappeared.

The only problem is that the credentials used for login are not the "Office 365 username and password" of this user but of another one.

I am thinking of deleting and recreating the user is Navision to see if it gives me a chance to enter the credentials again. If you know an other way, such as clearing some fields in one particular table, I'll be glad to know of it.

Otherwise I could just leave it as it is. If the only impact is to give an extra sharepoint access to the Zetadocs site, I don't see it as an issue. In that case would it be possible/sensible to use the same Zetadocs login (dummy Office 365 username and password) for all users?

    Hello,

The Office 365 login credentials will be stored by Windows Credential Manager.

If you log out of the SharePoint site in your web browser and delete stored credentials in Windows Credential Manager, you should then be requested for login credentials the next time you open the NAV page with Zetadocs Factbox added.

    Kind regards,

    Dear David,

Thank you for pointing out where the credentials are stored.

I could have searched them for a long time in NAV.
