Cloud Flow/Power Automate; how to make a proper HTTP request to Web API

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to get an HTTP request to the API of the environment I'm working in from a Cloud Flow. I can't figure out how to get the Authentication bit right. I'm fairly sure that I need to use the OAuth option. Does anyone know how to get the correct data to fill in the Tenant, Audience, Client ID, Credential Type and Secret fields? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Can I use a cookie or credentials from the current Cloud Flow session or something?

Best regards,
- Alex.

    Hi Bipin,

Thanks for your reply! I don't have the Invoke an HTTP request option. This option would be great though. The closest thing I have, is the HTTP with Azure AD option. I can't use variables for URL and URI.

This option doesn't do what I want. I'm going to have a look at the first option you mention, and will get back with results. Thanks again.

    Best regards,
    - Alex.

    Hi,

    You have two options -

Option -1 Use Access Token to connect to CRM to execute web api using Client Cred flow

Option - 2 Use Invoke an HTTP request which does not require you to specify auth token

This will be executed under the user who has created the connection.

Please mark my answer verified if this is helpful!
