Not able to hit the Dynamic GP API by eConnect. It's always returning 503.

HI,

I have an issue when I am trying to connect with GP via eConnect using a connector. I have installed Dynamic GP 2018 and eConnect as well.

Below is the step that I have followed to connect:-

1. I have installed the GP 2018 and eConnect.

2. 'eConnect for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 Integration Service' service is in running state inside Services.

3. IIS and .NET framework with WCF service installed.

So when I am trying to connect using the url (IP/.../) then it's giving me 503 error 

Service Unavailable:  HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.

So my question is what is missing here to setup and configure?

Please suggest.

    More times than not, when IIS is involved, a 503/service is unavailable message means the application pool for the IIS site being used in this integration is stopped/not running.

    I have seen where we'll start it, then try the integration or site again and it'll stop again. This can be anything from the service account running the application pool, to something with IIS and anything in between.

    Do you see any related errors or information on the Event Viewer logs, on the IIS server this integration/connector is running from?

    If the connector you're using to run eConnector through has a supplier/vendor, it may be worth talking to their support as well.
