Hi,

When our customer starts the AX client through Citrix they get two error messages:

"Operation failed"

and

"Initialization of ActiveX component failed"

Anyone know why and how to correct this issue?

Zone local intranet , initialize and script ActiveX control.

    Hi,

The problem is about the Telephony integrations configuration, if you don’t use the module please uncheck the license. Open the License configuration:
    DAT/System administration/Licensing
Uncheck the “Telephony integrations” in Sales and marketing series/

    Hi,

anybody found another solution to that issue instead of unchecking license for "Telephony integrations?"

    Hi Daniel

I had the same issue and tried all the suggested solutions.

    Here is what i found.

In Windows services there is a service called Telephony, this was set to disabled. When i set it to manual the error disappeared.

Hope this works for you too.

    Best regards

    Frode

Thanks Frode, this solved it for me using Dynamics AX 2012 R3 in a CITRIX Environment.

    Cheers,

    Frank.
