NAV 2016 finsql crashed

Hello,

Just installed NAV 2016, but have problem with finsql.exe

When i try to open new C/AL editot, finsql crashed with following error:

Using Windows 8 (Build 9600) 64-bit. MS SQL 2014

SQL Server, NAV server and DevEnv installed on same machine.

Where can be problem?

    Hi Olegs,

    I had the same problem.

    This is caused by some files left from an earlier installation of the beta version.

    You can fix this by removing the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\90 and then run setup and select repair.

    Probem was related with previously installed NAV 2016 beta.

    Somehow in RTC folder i get some DLLs from beta version.

    I just delete RTC folder and repair installation.

    Now problem is solved :)

    Looks like the error is related to the new Editor.  Start the finsql with the new parameter to start the old editor.  Contact MS to resolve the issue.

    Already was done. Also .NET framework was reinstalled.

    Problem also reproduced on another windows 8 machine with same configuration.

    On windows 7 working fine

    May I know which localization?

    I am using NL and it is working fine

    The error message that I include in initial post is from eventlog

    check the event log for failure.
