why not taking default printer settings for label in nav 2016

Hi All,

we have recently upgraded nav 2013 r2 to nav 2016(CU4) but when i print the label in nav 2016 it was not taking default printer settings.

but in nav 2013 r2 it is taking default printer settings and my label in landscape format, printer is default to portrait.

any one have idea please suggest me....

    Ramesh,

    Not sure if this will resolve,but try setting UseSystemPrinter property to yes on the report properties.

    Hi,

    Nav was in azure and Nav client is in local system.

    And also in test system is RDP connection is there any changes with RDP conncetion.

    the link says that it will use Report Properties only so looks to be a design to me. You can create a support case to Microsoft to confirm the behavior.

    Yes, i want to print as default of printer settings but it is overrides report layout properties.

    as per the link,

    the printed report orientation is determined by

    The settings in the Report Properties dialog box on the RDLC layout but is overridden if you change the settings in the Print dialog box.

    Your report orientation in landscape and same is showing in printer while printing.

    DId I understand it wrong?

    Hi Mohana,

    Yes same thing is happened here, First time it is taking from report properties if i change the properties in print dialog box it needs to save the values but it is not it always taking from report properties only.

    how to avoid this please explain?

    The values in the Print dialog box are initially set to the values from the Report Properties dialog box on the RDLC report layout.

    Did you try to change it and check whether it saved the settings or always showing from report properties only?
