Currently we have multiple costing methods turned on in our BC system. We have standard costs for most parts, we have specific for serialized items, we have FIFO for other parts....Our system also has expected costs turned on. With all that being said, we are currently trying to get a handle on our inventory costs. We would like the system to be able to track costs of inventory by the purchase order costs but that isn't the case. When we are doing cost rolls and cost updates it updates the cost on hand of all of the inventory which is not necessarily what we want to do. Is there a way for us to handle costs on inventory by on a purchase order level with standard costing?
