Vendor/PO Information in Management Reporter

Hi all,


I'd like to push the limits of Management Reporter a bit and bring in detailed purchasing information.  Does anyone have a method (or know if it is possible) to include the following fields in my Management Reporter reports?

  • Vendor Name
  • Vendor Account Number
  • Transaction ID Number
  • Text from PO/Transaction
  • Journal Entry Number
  • Journal Entry Description

Any help is appreciated!

    We do this and more quite a bit in BI360.    We are a full Excel Report for AX and can write PL with modification beyond the normal GL Transactions.

    Using transaction attribute, you can get vendor and PO information for each transaction at the drill down level.

    Hi cgust,

    Which attribute would you suggest using to obtain the PO name or the Vendor Name?  I am speaking of the dropdown list that begins like:

    Acknowledgement Date

    Active From

    Active To

    Amount Type

    Budget Model

    Budget Type

    Comment

    Created By...etc etc

    Management reporter is used for configuring Financial statements  for the organisation.  It cannot retrive any information from Other modules.

    Thanks, Shantanoo.  That's what I was afraid of.  As a matter of interest to yourself or anyone else that comes across this, I asked Microsoft what the product vision was regarding this and they indicated they were looking at opening up the connector tool and the data mart database to aid with customizations in MR, but nothing was firmed.
