Warehouse Entries - Consuming Different UOM

When we pick a UOM part I see the Quantity is 1 and the Quantity base is 0.05. However, when we consume this part it's Quantity (BASE)is 0.05 but the Quantity is also 0.05. I'm guessing bespoke work has been done and has changed the consumption quantity from saying 1.

Can anyone confirm that it should be a 1 to match the pick warehouse entry and where in the Whse. Item Jnl this is set in the code.

Thanks

RE: Warehouse Entries - Consuming Different UOM

    Hi,

The field "Quantity" contains always the number of items in the selected Unit.
"Quantity (Base)" shows the number of items in the base unit (which you can select on teh Item-card).
The base quantity is also the quantity in which you maintain your inventory.

    for example:

    Quantity: 1
    Unit: Meter

    =

    Quantity (Base): 100
    Base Unit: Centimeter

Probably, you have different UOM in your pick and in the production/assembly-document (when you consume).
Sounds like a problem in the setup.
