Link Between Generating Payroll (earning and Pay statements) with Time & Attendance/HR module in D365 F&O

Posted on by 51

Hello,

I have setup the payroll module in D365 F&O, I am trying to generate an earnings statement for salaried workers and getting an error "Selection criteria did not return any result"

Am I missing some link between the HR or the Payroll module which transfers the payroll? I have added payroll details to the position as attached in the picture.

Also wanted to know if there is any link between Time & Attendance module and the payroll module in D365 F&O, as logically I think attendance would be criteria to calculate the salary of any employee.

If that's the case what all setup would I require between Time & Attendance and Payroll to generate earning and pay statements?

Thank you,

    Hi Harsh Jain,

About the error "Selection criteria did not return any result", if you expected earnings to be generated, the following factors might be causing the lack of results:

    1. Earnings were already generated for the selection.

    2. The pay cycle that you selected doesn't match the pay cycle that is specified on the Payroll FastTab of the Position page for the worker.

    3. The worker wasn't assigned to a position during the pay period that you selected.

    4. The legal entity that you're signed in to doesn't match the Paid by value that was in effect for the position at the end of the pay period.

    5. You haven't selected the Generate salary or Generate earnings from schedule option on the Position page, and there aren't any recurring earning codes to generate for any workers.

    6. The pay period that you selected has the wrong year.

And there is no integration between the payroll module and the Time and Attendance modules. In order to accomplish this, you would need to create a customization to have an integration between Time and Attendance and the payroll module.

    Best Regards,

    Charlotte
