this is only occuring in 1 of the 4 stores that we have. however the issue is that when the item lookup window is open in the POS the button (check stores) is visable but it is "greyed" out and not "clickable"  Is there something i need to do to make the button function?

thanks for your help.

In Operations admin under File-> Config-> HQ Client, Put in the PC Name or IP that has the HQ Client running on it put in port 34202 hit OK.  then make sure in the op mgr that there is a store id( the store ID isnt really needed but the info from admin is).

Also make sure after you make the change to ops admin that ops mgr is either closed or you close and reopen.

I started having the same issue today with one of our stores, but wasn't able to get this working by changing the name/IP.

HQ Client shows the IP as 127.0.0.1 (localhost).  Changing that to the LAN IP (192.etc) didn't have any effect.

Oddly, the "Check Stores" button in Manager works fine... just still greyed out in POS.

HQ Client and Voucher Client are both running, and are able to connect successfully, so seems like issue is restricted to POS only.

Check windows firewall for this machine (HQ Client Port number is open) it may be closed during OS updates.

Thanks for the tip, but it wasn't the firewall.

The button just started working again after 1-2 hours of being disabled.

We did not change any config on RMS or in Windows.  A bit odd, but at least now resolved.
