Cleaning up dirty data, validating postal addresses

Hello All -

I came on board to a company utilizing a sub-par CRM for business.  A massive amount of data was input into the old system with very little accountability and data validation.  So I have thousands of postal addresses that are either blank, or formatted incorrectly.  The old CRM has the address as all one entry like 123 main st suite 300 new york NY 12345.  But the Dynamics CRM has Address1 123 Main St. Address2  Suite 300 City New York State NY ZipCode 12345.

Examples of the data could be:

123 main street newyork NY 12345
123 main st. NY 12345
123 main st floor 5 new york city NY (no zip)
Or on the export/import into the CRM  123 main st new york NY 12345 (CRM now shows..) Address1 123 main st new york NY 12345 Address2 (blank) city New York State New York ZipCode (none)
Etc.

Besides going through each record and fixing them, is there anything that can help me here?  Whether integrated into Dynamics or outside?  I am dreading dealing with this.

    Hi BMoreDynamic,

As per my very little knowledge, these all addresses are stored in the Address table

but to delete addresses from this table you need to remove dependencies first.

you can add the above filters here.

If you are uploading the data then you can run power automate and try to check if same data present in crm or not, if it has the similar data then just ignore it and go to the next record else update it on crm.

It will be hectic process but will have clean data. You can target the address like search for 123 then main from above record, from this if power automate flow have any results then flag it. And Then you can check flagged record manually.

Like how many records are there ?
