User defined project stages

Is it possible to define a project stage that would not allow workers to log time to the project when the hours portion of the project is complete , but would allow invoicing and other accounting functions to finish their portion of the project before moving the stage to "Finished". thanks.........

Out of the box it is no possible to define stage rules to that level of granularity.

It is not in present scope. you need customization.

In the Project stage rules there is a "Create journals" checkbox you can turn off to prevent Time entry. Leaving the "Create invoice proposals" checkbox on would allow you to finish up invoicing, and there are some other checkboxes for doing final Estimates on a fixed-price project.

Therefore I would say yes this is possible, but the key is what you mean by "other accounting functions".
