Undo / Reverse Item Reclassification posting and Purchase receipt

Hello All!
 
We realized that incorrect lot number was posted after item has transferred from warehouse to production with item reclassification journal. Now trying to undo purchase receipt but BC won't let me.
I transferred back items to warehouse but still no success.
 
Could you advise me if I can redo or reverse item reclassification posting so I can undo purchase receipt?

    If you received an item and after that transferred it using the item reclass. journal, then the undo action in the receipt won't work anymore. Even if the item is transferred back. The reason being that the receipt entry is closed/consumed.
     
    At this point you can use the item reclass. journal to change the lot. Or if the receipt is from a purchase order, finish the order by invoicing the item and then create a credit memo.
