I am looking to see if there is a way to export the data from CRM 2016 from multiple entities all at one time?  For instance.  If I have an account, that is tied to Entity B, which is also tied to Entity C, is there a way to get all the data that is tied to the Account outputted in some way?

    Hi,

maybe you can try document generation.

    Hi,

You can use excl templates which works on a specific view. So if you create a view which includes fields from account and other related entity then you can create the excel template out of it. Once the template is there, you can use that template to extract the information on demand.

You can also do some data manipulation in excel template before uploading like pivots charts.

    Take a look here:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../analyze-your-data-with-excel-templates

    www.powerobjects.com/.../dynamics-crm-2016-how-to-easily-generate-excel-templates

    Hope this helps.

This all looks like it is per entity and a view....or am I looking at this wrong?  I want to get all the data that is tied to the account record which I would need to pull the data from multiple entities as I want all the fields that are filled in only.  I can do this now using a word composed template that is pulling everything together, but this is a 3rd party application.  I am wondering if I can do this by using CRM and put it in excel as the tool I use now can't.  Thank you.

    Hi,

the document generation does support grab all related entities record. Make sure you choose the relationship when export from CRM for configuration.
