Hi,
I am currently trying to build a report in Power BI for Talent but I am struggling to find the End Date for when an employee is off sick (see below):
I have looked in all the leave entities but I cant seem to find it?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Jamie,
This works slightly different in CDS than in Talent.
If you want to check all the day's someone has been off sick, use the Leave Bank Transactions Entity.
That entity contains the 'Worker', 'Leave Type' and the 'Transaction Date' (This is the date they are taking off).
If someone has booked 4 days off sick, this would be stored as 4 different Leave Bank Transactions - with the number of hours taken for each day stored in the same record.
Hope this helps! :)
Regards,
Christy
Hi Christy,
Unfortunately that won't work for me. The first reason is I need to calculate the occurrences of sickness for a worker. If I did that in the transaction entity, that would be classed as 4 occurrences when in fact its only 1. The second reason is that my customer ideally wants to see this in an consolidate view with an end date so they can clearly see when an worker is expected back...
It has been an nightmare so far in terms of trying to report off Talent using Power BI. Is there another method to connect to Talent instead of using CDS which will give me an identical view of what I see in the front end?
Kind regards,
