Sub Report Issue in D365 FO

Hi All,

I have a requiremnt to develop a sub report for the vendor payments where it prints the relevent vouchers (3 vouchers per page) based on a Jounal batch number.

I have created the main report grouping the voucher in a Tablix control.

Then I have created the sub report and assign it to the main report's Tablix control's detail section.

Sub report properties

Sub report parameters

Sub report and it's parameters didn't get load automatically, I had to set those manually.

Sub report (Parameters : Journal and Voucher), which works fine when I call it directly.

Main report (Parameters : Journal), which throws the error when loading.

Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2019, Version 16.11.19

Finance and Operations, Product version : 10.0.28 (10.0.1265.20)

Can someone please help to resolve this or to tell whether that, this is feasible or not and also to suggest some other work arround to carry out this requirement.

Hi Gihan,

What other parameters do you pass to the sub report? Is there any error during deployment?

Hi Arunraj,

Those are the only two parameters (Journal and Voucher) and also there are no errors in the deployement also.
