In AX 2012 R3, we would like to automatically add a cooler to a sales order when certain criteria is met. Can the scenario below (or parts of it) be configured in AX or will custom code be required?
example: Product XYZ is perishable and will require a cooler/ice pack for shipment when shipping to postal code 12345 in the months of May through August or shipping from postal code 54321 (or warehouse) in the months of April through September. When product XYZ is ordered, it will trigger evaluation of criteria above and add another product (the cooler) to the sales order so that the warehouse picking the order knows to pack in the cooler.
If not in AX 2012 R3, is this scenario supported in D365 Finance and Operations?
