Payment Journal

Hi All -

Here goes a silly question. Basically AX2012 has duplicated a Payment journal from one that was used a week ago, not sure how but it has. The older one has been processed etc etc, however the new one apparently (from user) is a Huge payment £100k+ of smaller payments I believe, anyway, they are now asking if we are able to change the journal number without having to back all of the info out.

Could somebody let me know if this is possible?

    Good evening,

    Do you mean that both posted journal lines and new unposted lines are in the same journal? If it is a separate journal you could simply rename the journal id on the header, but if the lines are mixed up you will need a job to move the new journal lines to a new journal header.

    No Sorry,

    What I mean is, One Journal has lines in it and all posted. The other Has lines but not posted. There is no Mix of posted and unposted. I haven't had time to look just yet, But I suspected that you would be able change in the header or not at all?!

    But both the posted and unposted journals have the same journal number? Is that correctly understood?
