Leave and Absence requets not being sent to the line manager

An employee have requested for time off on a specific day in Leave and Absence but the leave request is not being sent to the line manager for approval.

The leave request is stocked as "Submitted" in status and the status is not changing to "in Review". 

The administrator can't make any changes on the leave request.

Does anyone know what to do here og how to solve this?

    Hi Marban,

    To add to what Parag said, please check even the workflow condition on your basic assignment and select the condition employee line manager then put value like the 1 then test your workflow.

    Hi Parag

    My assigned role is Administrator.

    I dont have the oppurtunity to click on "Cancel" as you can see below.

    As you can see: the employee has already sent a "time off request" back on 23/11 is it worked without any problems by using the same leave type. The only difference is the date.

    Im using the work-flow that requires the manager approval, but the time off request is not being sended to the line manager.

    The position hierarchy is corret - already checked up on that.

    Hi Marban,

    If you don't see workflow history it means you are missing privileges. What role is assigned to you?

    Try with manager role or sysadmin for testing.

    When I submit a leave request in my system then I can see something like below.

    This leave request will assign to the manager for approval.

    Can you please confirm which workflow you are using for the leave request?

    Do you have the correct position hierarchy setup for example employee and manager with their users?

    Thank you for responding to this.

    1. The work-flow is not set to auto approval and shouldn't because the line manager must approve the employee request for time off.

    2. I can't check the history og the workflow. I can only choose "options". The "work flow" button is not visible anymore and the time off request is stocked as "submitted" in status.

    3. The request is not in draft and no changes can be made. The time off request is stocked as "submitted" in status. And it's not assignet to someone (the line manager).

    It's just like stocked because:

    1) no change can be made on the time off request. The "workflow" button is not visible.

    2) the time off request is not assignet to the line manager for approval.

    Do you know any other work-around that can fix this?

    Hi Marban,

    1. Can you please check whether your workflow is set to auto approval?

    2. Can you please check the history of the workflow and to whom the workflow is assigned?

    3. If it is submitted then it should assign to someone or the request is in the draft.
