User A created an account and User B used that account in the opportunity record. Now user A is able to see the opportunity record where user A created account was used by user B opportunity record. Both are from different Business units and Teams but with the same security roles with the opportunity to read, write & delete privileges set to the user

In that case, others won be able to see the accounts created by this user and won't be able to associate them with opportunities.
Thats, right.
Exactly that is what we don't want. we want salespeople to associate the account with opportunity and in case the account doesn't exist, create them. We cant have an operation going out of the way.
Check by giving "read" permission user level for opportunity
