Microsoft Dynamics AX (Archived)

Users not able to view line details in Journals

My Institution uses Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. We are experiencing challeges in processing payments since the system is indicating that all the open journals are all ‘in use’(see the attachment). In effect, we cannot to open them for review and posting. Kindly assist solution.

    Hi Rubia,

    Can you also check on journal name form -> Blocking tab. You may even unblock it manually by unchecking In use check box if it is editable.

    You need to upload a file, pasting directly will not work.

    Could you please share the screen or the message you are getting that stops you process the payments? If it's the same issue we used to have, I might be able to help you :)

    Thanks Mr. Vilmos Kintera for the insite. That means it has to be done through back end?

    The user who has the block has to close the Lines popup form for the journal to release the block. Only one user can open the journal lines at a time. Or alternatively a developer could release the block in the backend as well if it is just stuck.
