i am trying to use sub report control in ssrs report but is shows me the below message

"ax 2012 The SubReport could not be found at the specified location,please verify the subreport has been published and that the name is incorrect"

    You have two similar question

    As error message says you need to verify the sub report existance and accessibility

    Please analyse and update us with your finding results, this will help us suggesting you any specific solution

    Hi Nitesh,

    I'm trying to make report with subreport.

    What I've done is:

    -. Make my main report

    -. Create subreport in the same project as main report in VS

    -. Add subreport control in my main report.

    -. In the subreport control properties, field "Use this report as a subreport" I use my subreport name with the design name, so It looks like this "Subreport.PrecisionDesign1"

    -. When I preview it in VS, I got the error "The subreport could not be found at the specified location. Please verify that the subreport has been published and that the name is correct."

    People says that subreport don't work with preview in VS. So I deploy the subreport and main report and try to open it in AX. But I got an error "Subreport could not be shown."

    Is there any reference or example how to create SSRS subreport for AX 2012?

    Or is there any solution for this problem?

    Have you previewed the subreport as individual report

    please confirm if it is working fine

    please if subreport is deployed to the SSRS without any issue.

    You need to check if the is any parameter missing for the subreport to execute

    Please verify and update us with your findings.

    Hi Nitesh,

    I have previewed the subreport, it's working fine.

    Also I have checked the parameter for the subreport, no parameter is missing.

    Can you give any other suggestion to make the subreport working?
