Hello,

does anyone have a good description of classes InventJournalTableData and TransData? They are used in the example to create new movement journals (http://learnax.blogspot.de/2010/01/x-code-to-create-and-post-inventory.html) but I am not sure, if they are really needed and what they are for?

Hi Andi,

These classes are used for more consistent creation of your journals. If you skip these classes, all logic for e.g. new journal number, using voucher at moment of entry or posting, number of journal lines etc needs to be done within your own classes.

Agreed.

You may not use JournalTableData pattern (it is a pattern, you can look it up on MSDN under Dynamics Ax section).

You can also mix these classes with your own classes, and make it work the way you want.

I like these classes when it comes to Vouchers management....I avoid doing that manually.

Hi Gustavo, can you please provide the link to the documentation. I search the whole msdn but did not find any documentation about the pattern (only the code docu, but there isn't much information)
