Tab key press doesn't move focus in expected order

Hello Everyone,

on Tab key press, focus is not moved in desired order on Journal Voucher Form.  When form opens first time, the focus is on the first cell of the first row of the grid. when i press Tab key, it is moving to the New Button in Action Pane. Instead, it should move to the 2nd column of the  same row in the grid. There was no any customization on that form. Even i tried to compare the form on other instance where it's working fine. But it doesn't show any difference in compare tool. we haven't set any tabindex propery anywhere on the form.  What could be the issue?

    Hi,

I have not seen this before, but you can try to delete the Usage data (SysLastValue) and probably look for client cache files on the client machine and delete them. These files have the extension *.auc. These files are located in the AppData folder.

Does this happen for all users on the same environment/client machine?

    Hi Andre,

Thanks for replying.  Yes it's produced at multiple clients and on multiple instances of AOS.

Actually customer has raised the concern on production system at his end. So we tried to reproduce it at the test system (at different geographical location) where multiple ax client connects to it. All ax clients are getting the same issue.

    Thanks,

    mail2vd

    Hi mail2vd,

So you probably can ignore my previous comment about the usage data and client caching...

Have you tried to recompile the form/application?

Yes. I compiled the form (not application).  Generated incremental CIL as well. but no help.

It is difficult to help if it is not reproducable in other environments. Can you tell something more about operating system versions and possible use of terminal service software?

    Hi,

We have a similar problem, we can reproduce it and we have an open incident at Microsoft. The twist on our end is that that tab order only gets messed up when the user has used the Personalize options to add fields to the form.

Have you also Personalized the form? Then please try removing the usage data for your user and try again. (File - Tools - Options - Usage Data - Reset). (Note: this wil remove all the usage data for your user!).
