How axapta converts date to hijri?

Hi everybody

as all you know , dynamics ax 2009 supports hijri and um al qura calendars and date system

i want to know how dynamics converts georgian date to hijri

i mean is there any class in AOT that is responsible for this job?

there is a class in AOT named calendarconverter but its just responsible for calendar lookup form and axapta converts georgian date to hijri in another way.

its really important for me and my job to know and find this class if exist

    Hi,

    there are number of way available you can convert the gregorian date to Hijri date. see the blog link from Amer about playing with Hijri.

    thanks for your care

    but as i explained im not searching for a new way to convert dates

    i had seen amer blog before and i talked to him and he helped me very much

    but i want to know axapta date conversion mechanism itself

    In this CalendarConverter class you will get answers to all your questions related to gregorian/hijri/um-al-qura/... date-conversions...

    thanks for your care but

    as you can see i wrote about this class in my first post

    i should repeat that this class is just responsible for calendar lookup , NOT DATE CONVERSION SYSTEM.

    even when you change calendar lookup form to another calendar like jalali , when you choose a date in that calendar , it will write hijri date in your selected field

     i want to know axapta date conversion mechanism itself

    What about winapi?

    do you think that it may use windows dll's?
