Cant see deployable package in LCS

Hi All,

I did customizations in a dev environment (8.1 version). Created a deployable package and uploaded in LCS under

shared asset library -> software deployable packages. 

Opened sandbox details in LCS and clicked on maintain -> apply updates, now I cannot see my package here.

Can you please suggest me.

    Please upload it to Asset Library and not in Shared Asset Library. You can find Asset Library by navigating inside your project. 

    Secondly make sure that it is marked as Release Candidate (If you want to deploy it to production).

    Your screenshot seems to be from prod, not sandbox. You can apply a deployable package to prod once it's been succesfully applied to sandbox and marked as release candidate.

    Can we deploy a custom code package directly to production without deploying it first to sandbox? Does it allow to mark package as release candidate before applying it to sandbox? what would be the cons or issues?

    It may not be recommended but our on-premise sandbox environment is down right now so we cannot deploy to it. Team is working to set it up again on latest version.

    no, that's not possible. You need to verify each package in sandbox before deploying to prod.
