Knowledge Article unable to Revert to Draft

I'm running into this issue where users are able to click the Publish button and publish Knowledge Articles successfully, but clicking on Revert to Draft throws an unhelpful error message. pastedimage1574189770682v1.png
The user has the permissions to create/read/write Knowledge Articles, as well as Approve/Publish. System Administrators are able to publish and unpublish successfully though so I assume that it must be an issue with another entity and not the Knowledge Articles.

Does anyone have any insight into this issue?

    Hi,

I am wondering if you found a solution to this error.  I am running into the same thing and was wondering if you found the permission that needs to be modified to correct it.

    Thank you!

    Hi partner,

Did you try the following permissions?

I also suggest to give the "Knowledge Manager" to the users and try again.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi Leo,

Thanks for replying. I was not aware that the user reverting an article to draft should have higher permissions than the owner of the article. That is useful and I will keep that in mind, thanks.

However, the role this user was given has Organization-level permission to read/write/create Knowledge Articles, and yet Revert to Draft does not work. They cannot even revert Knowledge Articles that they are the owner of.

I'm not sure how to proceed debugging since the error message does not even display which permissions for which entities are missing.

    Hi partner,

As far as I konw, Revert to draft only need the write permission of Konwledge Articles, but please make sure that the user who is ready to revert the article to draft should have higher permissions than the owner of this article. You could try to imporve your authority level like from "user" to "Business Unit".
